Still on Akma's..
|

If previously it was mostly on Akma's, this time, it'll be more on her beloved hubby. Who can ever forget 4U2C...yes a malay group famous in the early 90's, or is it late 80s?gosh, I'm so old..yes, back to them...who can ever forget the line "Bergema takbir di pagi raya, menyambut syawal, bulan mulia" (takk!!!aku tak minat derang). They are no longer in the picture now but what's left of them in the limelight would be the stoopid AC Mizal, who left his pretty, once a model wife wif 4 kids (erkk..tol ker) for his current, equally established in Malaysian film industry wife ..Akma's hubby, fazril, was once in that group taking the nick "Adik"..yes, it's a small world indeed, and to make it even smaller, he's a dear cousin to our Head Girl back in school Noor Akmal Fadzilla better known as Pie...
Okay enuff about him, now on the wedding..was held at Sheraton Subang, and, like other hotel wedding reception, the cake was 8 storey high, there was some flashback from their childhood, just like the normal thing..oh yes, AC Mizal came as well..but the best part was when Akma threw her bouquet, n guess who got it? none other than her roommate...of all the people, all rakan2 artis akma yg lain, it must be her jugaklaa kan..

More Srikandi wedding....

and this time, it's at Akma's. 8 of us altogether, travelling in 2 cars..gosh i just love road trips.it's when, u got nothing else but each other, n all u can do is endless talkings, so as not to bore one another. n the thing with us srikandis is, we never fail to do just that: to entertain one another with just plain craps.
ok, back to Akma. She's our dear housemate, me n laila. already appeared in telemovie Gosok 1 & 2, Boboy the movie, n quite many others. To add to her succes, she was once a co-star alongside Ako Mustafa. Recently, she was one of the finalist in the 'Secret Girl' contest, held on NTV7 (don't worry, i hardly watch it myself)..she was the viewer's choice mind ya..now, u can find her at 6 or 6.30 pm, also on NTV7 if im not mistaken...n dat would be her final apperance on screen...well Akma, congratulations...u certainly look good on your wedding

Pulau Sibu Escapade

Need me to say more? it was, a fun filled, adventurous, hilarious journey. if i were to spill everything out, this will become miles long entry. So, to sum this up, our main activities were mostly:
1. bitch about ur boyfren like nobody's business, haha, d way chics put it.n this include past, present, future boyfriends n flings..this is where we got to know everyone's deepest darkest secret
2. Card fortune reading...spooky i tell ya. it kind of matches everyone
3. snorkeling, kayak, beach volley of cos, what's island without them
4. nik being jinxed. she had 3 major accidents. everyone got scared at 1st, but when it finally over, we had our heartiest laugh ever.
5. turning the resort into the hottest brothel of the east side..hoho
6. again, as usual, taking lots of pics
so, will this be my final vacation with this amazing group of ppl? I really hope not  aminsyah, pls pls pls, lemme hang out wif them..so for more infos n insights, check out http://chicsinred.groovylicious.org/. n, brace urself everyone, coz my digicam is back to business. time for more pics..

Thx guys for d karaoke treat, n most importantly, for coming. Thx mon n ida for accompanying me d whole day. Thx all for the presents, cards, and endless wishes (dis is d yr dat i got d most wishes i think). Sad part is, pics taken during our karaoke session simply vanished, gone, just like that. To make things worst, that was the only source we had, cos no one else brought their camera. So here i am, taking whatever remains.
Special thx to ermon, to consider me as a great fren.. i'm so touched..and thx again to all for making turning into quarter of century a lot easier to take..n to laila, thx 4 always being around (ishh rase cam speech oscar plak)..just imagine, i wont be having all this once we enter 2006..uhukk

wat can i say, it was filled with Srikandis..96,97,98..and were there any 99ers? plus, radhi from OAG came as well, along with his wife..cute laa die, very much my type..clad in baju melayu and jeans..cool gak..think he shud try it on stage.. pity to all d boyfrens, husbands, fiances cos we were like maniacs..mad for pics..to AG, haha, welcome to the real world of Srikandis..not forgetting Melati, who's more like a Srikandi to us than an SSPian (btol kah??)..overall, it was great..weddings are one of our fav occasion nowadays..we get to wear our fancy kurungs or kebayas, mini gatherings plus an excuse to take pictures...lots of them..hahah..but, my batt was running low, so there's only 1 pic of the bride..so sorry fadzi..takper, aku curik from laylas' sket

Boring entry-My engagement that is

Sorry guys, was supposed to be a super duper short, simple ceremony. not dat it got any bigger, but the delegates were definitely huge. 6 cars altogether, n 1 MPV. takperla, it shows i'm more than welcomed to be part of their family. no friends, strictly relatives. Some say the negotiation part may lead to 3 hrs, but mine was very brief. amin n me was panicking all over right before, but when it finally over, we got so relieved. Never knew that the amount of anxiety would be that intense, even for a simple engagement
